André Lalande

(born 19 July 1867 in Dijon, near Paris, died. November 15, 1963 in Asnières) - French philosopher. In th e years (1904-1937) taught at the Sorbonne, educating the future of many philosophers: Isidore Dąmbska, Alexandre Koyré et al. L ater he taught at the University of Fuad in Cairo. Publisher philosophical dictionary: Vocabulaire technique et critique de la philosophie (8th edition appeared in 1956). Member of the Academy of moral and political science since 1922. His research focused on the history of philosophy, the methodology of empirical science and the issues of value theory - Axiology.
